Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF) is the only book fair in the Asia-pacific region fully dedicated to children’s book publishing, with activities ranging from rights trading to author introduction and reading promotion, covering a wide array of content for 0-16 year-olds, including books, magazines, digital products and creative and educational services.
CCBF is growing year Exhibition space will gain 5,000 sqm, reaching a total surface of 22,000 sqm. We expect to attract more than300 exhibitors from over 30 countries and literary agents, book sellers, authors, illustrators etc.
Aim to become an exchange platform between the newest voices in children’s illustration and publishing industry.
To attract more than 2000 visitors attend dozens of professional conferences. Our menu of conferences will be structured around four series – “Digital Minds”, ”Reader Factory”, “Creator Hub” and “Industry Insights”.
We select every year a small group of international publishers to come to Shanghai and enjoy SHVIP great features.
Established in 1981, the Chen Bochui Children's Literature Award is one of the longest-running literary prizes in China and the first one to take its inspiration in the legacy of a great Chinese children’s writer, Chen Bochui, born in Shanghai 110 years ago.
Offers a select number of foreign writers and illustrators an opportunity to engage with their Chinese peers, meet their young readers and discover Shanghai’s bustling literary scene.

In retail zone, there are many events which hold by exhibitors and companies. Such as picture book signing, writers meeting, early education experience, Symphony and dance performance etc.
