Miriam Rosenbloom

Miriam Rosenbloom has been working in publishing for more than a decade, in both Melbourne and London. After working as a Senior Designer for Faber & Faber, in 2011 she took up the role of Art Director at Scribe before launching Scribe’s first picture-book imprint, Scribble, in 2016. Miriam’s ethos and innovative approach to book production are at the heart of Scribble, which focuses on combining meaningful narratives with the best design and production values. Miriam’s success within the children’s book industry has seen her invited as a guest to major literary events such as the Sydney and Melbourne Writers Festivals, and the Melbourne Art Book Fair, which is held at the National Gallery of Victoria.

Scribble is a vibrant, eclectic list of award-winning illustrated books for children by brilliant writers and artists from around the world. Since its inception in 2016, Scribble’s innovation in book production has seen the companybecome a market-changer both locally and internationally. Committed to telling essential modern stories, Scribble has won multiple prestigious awards, including the 2019 Bologna Children’s Book Fair BOP Prize: Oceania, the Australian Book Industry Award Picture Book of the Year for All the Ways to be Smart by Davina Bell & Allison Colpoys and theAustralian Book Designers’ Award/Designers’ Choice Children’s/YA Book of the Year for Antonia Pesenti’s Rhyme Cordial.
