SHVIP is calling for application!

Don't miss your chance to be part of Asia's first fellowship programme designed exclusively for children’s book people.

Short for Shanghai Visiting International Children’s Publishers, SHVIP is one of CCBF’s most successful programmes now running for a seventh edition, which will take place from 11 to 16 November 2019.

Built on the conviction that mutual knowledge is the key to fruitful business and productive cultural exchange, SHVIP is an opportunity to learn about the Chinese children’s publishing market through valuable first-hand information, extend your network of international partners and discover CCBF from a privileged position.

To achieve its goals, SHVIP is shaped as a six-day programme with a diversified programme of public events and small group meetings.

SHVIP is a selective programme. It is designed for publishing managers, publishers and editors of all levels. However, a couple of vacancies are reserved for foreign rights people, literary agents, scouts and other specialists in children’s literature with a strong interest in the Chinese market.

SHVIP is now looking for its next generation of fellows. Applications are open online until 24 June.

* The SHVIP travelling allowance is based on the average price for an economy ticket from your city of residence to Shanghai and return.
